India vs South Africa: Suryakumar Yadav’s century and Kuldeep Yadav’s five-wicket haul power India to their biggest win against South Africa in T20 cricket history.

India vs South Africa: India recorded their biggest win against South Africa in T20 cricket history, as they thrashed the hosts by 106 runs in the third and final T20I at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday. India, who had already clinched the series 2-0, put up a dominant performance with both bat and ball to complete a clean sweep.

India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav led from the front, as he smashed a brilliant 100 off 56 balls, his fourth T20 century and the second-fastest by an Indian in this format. He hit seven fours and eight sixes, as he propelled India to a mammoth total of 201 for 7 in 20 overs. He was well supported by Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 60 off 41 balls, his second consecutive half-century of the series.

South Africa’s chase never got going, as they lost wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 95 in 13.5 overs. India’s spinners wreaked havoc, as Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for 17 runs, his best figures in T20Is and the joint-best by an Indian in this format. Ravindra Jadeja also chipped in with two wickets, while Ankit Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one each.

Suryakumar Yadav was named the Player of the Match and the Player of the Series, as he scored 208 runs in three matches at an average of 104 and a strike rate of 191.74. He also became the first Indian captain to score a century in T20Is.

This was India’s seventh consecutive T20I series win, and their fourth consecutive T20I series win in South Africa. India also extended their unbeaten run in T20Is to 13 matches, the longest by any team in this format.
